“CROSSWAYS DOUBLES DOWN DURING LOCKDOWN”
Over the past couple of months, as the world held its breath, Dr Chris Mulder, co-developer of Crossways Farm Village, saw opportunity.
To plan, to connect, to forge ahead while the rest of the world was wondering whether we will recover.
As proof of his industrious drive, Dr Mulder and his team launched the newly tarred access road to Crossways on Thursday, 9 July, to a respectable, albeit small crowd of dignitaries from the Kouga Municipality.
Not one to rest on his laurels, Dr Mulder emphasised the time well spent during Lockdown as beneficial to the growth of South Africa’s newest rural town.
Apart from the access road leading up to the sales centre, Lockdown saw Crossways gaining a new security fence, professional landscaping, new signage, a refurbished sales centre as well as streetlights – lighting the way to handing Phase 1 and 2 over to the Home Owners Association.
Not only that – there are also six of ten approved new homes starting construction soon (with more to follow), a new irrigation system feeding into the planned agriculture patches being planted throughout the estate as well as plans for a Crossways airstrip.
Not to sound like an infomercial – but wait, there’s more! With deals on the table for an international hotel group to set up shop at Crossways, the industrial and commercial legs gaining traction and a new marketing campaign ready to roll out – it seems as though the Lockdown has done nothing but accelerate the vision of Dr Mulder and his co-developer, Mr David Osborne.
As the frontrunners in the agri-living game in South Africa, Dr Mulder will also represent Crossways by heading up a panel of property and investment experts in a webinar hosted by leading property platform Estate Living on the 29th of July, focusing on the future of rural developments.
Anyone interested in leaving the city behind to find their place between the mountains at Crossways Farm Village is encouraged to tune in, visit Crossways Farm Village or go discover the opportunities on sale at www.crossways.co.za.
